The role

We have a unique opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a young and progressive company based in Greenwich, London. Redshaw Advisors is an award-winning company that helps businesses, governments and investors around the world to understand and manage their exposure to Environmental Markets. Shipping is a sector we plan to grow considerably in the next 12 – 18 months and we are looking for a new team member to be at the forefront of that development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of a list of target shipping companies
  • Develop new business leads and help grow sales activities
  • Arrange new meetings to grow the prospect pipeline/business in the EU/UK and globally
  • Work with the Head of New Markets to ensure full client support is maintained at all times
  • Input and maintain client details in Customer Relation Management (CRM) system
  • Develop your knowledge of the shipping and carbon sectors to ensure a value add client service
  • Support the team with any additional tasks as required


Required Skills and Experience

  • Solid academic achievement preferably educated to degree level
  • Excellent Communication skills – like using the phone
  • Customer service skills, enjoy a client-facing role
  • Highly motivated and ambitious individual with a desire to learn and progress
  • High levels of diligence and attention to detail essential
  • Experience of using CRM would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of Carbon and/or Shipping sectors would be of particular interest
