Anheuser-Busch Achieves Sustainability Milestone: Brewing with 100% Renewable Electricity

Anheuser-Busch, a prominent US beverage company, has made a significant achievement by brewing its entire portfolio of domestic beer and seltzer brands using 100% renewable electricity sourced from solar and wind power. This milestone aligns with the company's commitment to sustainability and is a result of its forthcoming 222MW solar farm in Texas, which stands as the largest solar farm in the US beverages industry. The solar farm is scheduled to become operational this month, enabling Anheuser-Busch to accomplish its goal of sourcing 100% of its purchased electricity from renewable sources by 2025.

This recent accomplishment builds upon the success of Anheuser-Busch's existing renewable energy initiatives, including the 152MW Budweiser Wind Farm located in Oklahoma. Together, these projects represent a significant contribution of nearly 400MW of additional grid capacity, further solidifying the company's dedication to clean and renewable energy sources.

By brewing its popular beer and seltzer brands with 100% renewable electricity, Anheuser-Busch sets an example for sustainable practices within the beverage industry. The company's commitment to renewable energy not only supports its environmental goals but also serves as an inspiration for other businesses to adopt similar practices and contribute to a greener future.
